We recently experienced our first WBENC National Conference, and we came back from Denver inspired and ready to amplify our fellow women-owned businesses! Sessions on leadership, navigating the tech landscape, and building partnerships provided practical insights and actionable steps to propel our business forward.
The true strength of WBENC, however, lies in its ability to foster connections. We met fellow women entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and potential clients who share our commitment to innovation and excellence. Ashley Walker, Director of Marketing and Communications at MDSI, Keely Antonio, Co-Owner of FeelSwell Experiences, and Fernando Hernandez, Senior Director of Supplier Diversity at Coca-Cola, were just a few of the inspiring and generous connections we made at the event.
For women-owned businesses, we highly recommend attending WBENC 2025. The conference offers a valuable investment with lasting benefits. In the meantime, let's continue to support each other's success and build a thriving future for women in tech.
Earlier this April, Covalent founder and CEO Ann Teschendorf was honored to be a panelist at GLBC’s event focused on Artificial Intelligence. The event brought together a diverse group of industry leaders, with keynote speaker Princess Castleberry setting the tone by urging participants to approach AI with confidence and find ways to make it a transformative tool for their businesses.
Ann and her fellow panelists—small business owners who have embraced AI—shared their own journey in making AI part of their strategy and provided their unique insights into the challenges and opportunities AI presents. It was a great way to share our expertise and learn from others! Thank you GLWBC for the opportunity!
